Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Hest Studios ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with our mobile games and this website (collectively, the "Services"). We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about what we collect and why.

Each of our games may have additional, game-specific privacy notices. This document is the general policy that applies across all Hest Studios products. Where a game-specific policy says something different, that one takes precedence for that game.

1. Information we collect

Information stored on your device

Most of what our games create — your progress, settings, purchased items, in-game preferences — is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data unless explicitly synced through a service you authorize (such as iCloud or Game Center).

Information we collect automatically

When you use our games, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information:

• Device model, operating system version, and language
• App version and crash reports (no personal identifiers attached)
• Aggregated gameplay analytics (e.g., which features are used, how long sessions last)
• Approximate region (country-level, derived from IP address)
• Advertising identifiers (only if you have not opted out via your device settings)

Information you give us directly

If you contact us by email, we will receive whatever you choose to send — typically your email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to reply to you.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Keep our games running, fixing crashes and bugs
• Improve gameplay and design based on what players actually do
• Show relevant in-game advertisements (in free games)
• Process in-app purchases via Apple or Google
• Respond to your support questions
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Third-party services we use

Our games rely on a small number of trusted third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy that governs how they handle data:

• Apple App Store — purchases, downloads, App Store reviews
• Google Play (on Android) — purchases, downloads
• Firebase (by Google) — analytics, crash reporting, remote configuration
• Google AdMob — in-game advertising (in free games only)
• Game Center (Apple) — leaderboards and achievements, only if you sign in
• RevenueCat — purchase verification

We do not share information with these services beyond what is necessary for them to provide their specific function. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with anyone.

4. Advertising

Our free-to-play games show advertisements through Google AdMob. These ads may use your device's advertising identifier to show ads more relevant to you. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Personalized Ads (off), or Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

Even with personalization off, you will still see ads — they just won't be targeted to your interests.

5. In-app purchases

Some of our games offer in-app purchases (such as premium upgrades, gems, or cosmetics). All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We never see or store your payment information. Purchase verification is handled by RevenueCat.

6. Children's privacy

Our games are rated for general audiences but are not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us at heststudios@gmail.com and we will promptly delete it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your data:

• Access — ask what we have about you
• Deletion — request that we delete your data
• Correction — fix anything that's inaccurate
• Objection — ask us to stop processing your data
• Portability — get your data in a portable format

8. Data retention

Analytics data is retained by Firebase for up to 14 months by default. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. Data on your device is kept until you uninstall the game or clear its data.

9. International data transfers

Our service providers (Google, Apple, RevenueCat) may store and process data outside your country. They each operate under strong privacy frameworks and we rely on the safeguards they provide.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective" date at the top. For significant changes, we will provide notice through our games or this website.
