Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to Route Tycoon ("the Game"), published by Hest Studios. For our general data practices across all our games, see our main privacy policy.

1. What the game collects

Route Tycoon is a tycoon-style idle game. To run smoothly and improve over time, it collects a small set of technical information through trusted services:

Route Tycoon does not collect:

• Your name, email, or phone number
• Your physical address or precise location
• Photos, contacts, or any other personal media
• Your iCloud content (Apple syncs save data automatically; we never see it)
• Any information about other apps on your device

2. Services used

Google Firebase

We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (both by Google) to understand which game features are working, where players get stuck, and to be alerted to crashes. Events sent include things like "tutorial completed", "route purchased", or "city advanced" — with no identifying info attached.

Google AdMob

Route Tycoon is free to play and supports development through ads shown by Google AdMob. Banner ads and occasional interstitial ads (between actions, not during play) are served. Rewarded ads can be watched optionally for bonuses. AdMob's policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Apple App Store & Game Center

Purchases are processed by Apple. If you sign in to Game Center, leaderboards and achievements work — we receive your Game Center alias (a nickname) but nothing else about your Apple account.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to verify in-app purchases on our side without storing payment info. RevenueCat's policy: revenuecat.com/privacy

3. Advertising and your control

The free version of Route Tycoon shows ads. You can:

• Limit ad tracking: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising
• Disable App Tracking Transparency: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
• Remove ads entirely: Purchase the "Remove Ads" upgrade in the game (if available)

Even with ad tracking off, you'll still see ads — they just won't be personalized.

4. In-app purchases

Route Tycoon offers optional in-app purchases such as gem packs, premium skins, and remove-ads upgrades. All purchases go through Apple's App Store. We never see or store your payment information. Purchase verification happens via RevenueCat.

5. Save data and iCloud

Your game progress is stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud Backup enabled, your iPhone may automatically back this up to your iCloud account (managed entirely by Apple). We do not have a Hest Studios cloud where your save lives — uninstalling the game without iCloud backup will lose progress.

6. Children

Route Tycoon is rated 4+ in the App Store and contains no explicit content, but it is not specifically designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent and have concerns, please email us at heststudios@gmail.com.

7. Your data rights

Because Route Tycoon stores almost everything on your device, you can clear most of your data by deleting the game (Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Route Tycoon → Delete App). For data held by our analytics service (Firebase), email heststudios@gmail.com to request deletion.

8. Updates to this policy

If we materially change how Route Tycoon handles data, this page will be updated and the "Effective" date at the top will change. For significant changes we may also show an in-game notice the first time you launch the new version.
